This Diwali, Support the Team Fighting for Animals.
Redefining Ahimsa is a small team building a youth-led animal justice movement in India, through education. This Diwali, every gift is matched rupee for rupee and dollar to dollar. Choose a person, a project or a gift and help us save more farmed animals in India.
Matching Challenge
Your gift counts twice. Give ₹1,000 and a group of donors adds another ₹1,000, so ₹2,000 reaches the work. This applies to every gift made between 23rd October and 15th November, up to ₹25,08,000 ($28,500). Whatever we don't raise by 15th November, they don't donate.

Back a Team Building a Kinder Future.
We are a small team, and every programme rests on a few people who care deeply for animals. In their own words, here is why they do this work, and what your support would let them do next. Back one of them, and your gift goes to their programme.

“I’ll never forget the first slaughterhouse video I saw. It is still one of the worst moments of my life, and I’m grateful for it, because it’s why I work for animals today. I still see hard things in this job, but I also see more progress than most people ever do. Every time a new college or company signs up for Green Tuesday, I get to celebrate change instead of grieving suffering. We know how to bring new institutions on board now. What we need is the funding to do it more often. Your gift would mean the world to me, and I’ll keep you posted on every win.”

“I’ve spent years helping people move away from animal products, and I’ve seen first-hand how much more open students are to change. They’re at a point in life where they’re trying new things and forming habits that last, and they have decades of meals ahead of them. Students in India also show up: they are far more likely to join a webinar than students elsewhere. With more funding, we can meet that interest and turn it into leadership on campus. If you can fund the work, I can do it. Message me with any question at all.”

“In every Food Planet Health session there’s a moment when the room goes quiet, usually when students see, for the first time, what sits behind an ordinary plate of food. Most of them have never been asked to think about it. Many leave asking how to start. I want to bring that moment to more campuses, in more languages, across more of India. One session can shape what a room full of students eats for the rest of their lives. Help me reach the next campus.”

“Deciding to go vegan is the easy part. The hard part is week three, when your family is unsure, the canteen has nothing for you and you’re not sure you’re doing it right. That’s when people write to me. I answer questions about protein, festivals, eating out and difficult conversations at home. Most people don’t need convincing; they need someone in their corner. Your gift keeps that support personal, for everyone who asks.”

Pick a poster, then choose where to share it. A message written for that platform goes with it, ready to post.
Whether you give, share, or both, you are the reason we can do so much for animals in India. A message from you carries more weight than any post from us, because your friends and family know you. Thank you for passing it on.
